That it is! I normally go in Dec. or January, but once I did go in early May. May 2012 would be the time for sure I will visit... and possibly, early July, just in time for the 122 F average they have in that month.

I envy you! I wanted to experience some of that intense heat but it only reached 106 while I was there. I did feel 112 in Utah though. Yay!

The worst I have seen was June in Las Vegas with around 115 F or so... so odds are it'd be worse if I went there in early July. 112 F is pretty hot, though!
